I was so moved by Washboard Wanda which was displayed in our hotel in New Orleans. I teach high school English and I am interest in using this for a creative writing response within the classroom. I am interested in getting some background information on the watercolor to use in the presentation. This work captures the essence of diversity within cultural lines and music with such personality.
